About Attorney Kevin E. Parks![]() Prior to founding Parks Law Offices, Kevin practiced as an Associate Attorney with the Portland boutique business transactions and litigation firm Slinde Nelson. He had previously served as a Staff Attorney with the consumer non-profit Citizens' Utility Board of Oregon, and interned for the current Oregon Governor Kate Brown when she served as Oregon Secretary of State.
Kevin's first legal position was working in Kabul, Afghanistan, in 2007 as a Legal Adviser with the Wildlife Conservation Society's WCS Afghanistan program. While attending law school at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Kevin practiced as a Clinic Attorney in civil practice with Lane County Legal Aid and Advocacy Center, in criminal defense with Public Defender Services of Lane County, and in environmental and administrative law with the Western Environmental Law Center. During the 2007 Oregon legislative session he interned with Oregon State Senator Dr. Alan Bates, and he has previously worked for 1000 Friends of Oregon and as a lobbyist for the Sierra Club. Originally from Kansas City, Kevin graduated from the University of Kansas Honors Program with degrees in political science and psychology. He is a music enthusiast and record collector, avid sports fan, sneaker head, and an ordained minister. |
